Messing around with CheatEngine

I want to mess around with cheat engine in solo, but really don't want a vac ban on my account, will I get banned if I host a server and mess around with it?

I don't think this game is VAC secured and since you're hosting the server, I don't think you will get banned.

Yes, while I haven't played the game as of recent, it was an absolute pain in the ass. People were reporting others somehow kicking the host (which personally I have never seen, don't know how others even managed to assume the authority of being host), some people were reporting others destroying the map entirely (again haven't seen this), while some reported people crashing the server altogether (which I've seen a dozen of times, and since the servers usually have a fairly low population count, you're frequently accused of it and it really does suck as you can't exactly prove that you're innocent). I'm hoping it dies out and people stop using it, as I have seen people joining games with space weapons, while some people are flying and take plenty of hits from zombies unfazed. Quite an annoying predicament to be in. I remember back years ago when the only cheating source was CheatEngine. From what I know, all that allowed you to do was duplicate items...but the crap that I've been hearing? It's just ridiculous and getting out of hand...

EDIT: tldr (to be fair it is a wall of text); people would crash servers, people would somehow assume control as host and kick the real host according to some threads, people would kill others and leave, innocent people were constantly accused due to low server population count, and people would apparently wipe the map.

It's quite a shame that it's apparently still around.

You're not using the one that CNoEvil made then because his menu wasn't able to do any of that, it made sure you were host if you were to spawn in items/enemies.
also stop commenting
