don't know about the portable cameras.. but the camquarter is bought via fishing I think. When you buy that inflared camera a red camera icon shows up on the left side of the screen above those useless visual options. Only appears in the Dojo.

Yep, there's a small red icon of a camera, before you're having sex click it, then it will show it's recording. Then have your way with here till the climax and you get a recorded scene on disc that you can sell to the thug. Try to do all possible positions and sell them. This was also unlock on the gallery at the main menu.
