2.Theres not many open enviroment RPGs with Real time combat on PC.
3.The quality standard for this game towers far above 99.99% of mobil games.
4. It has imo a good old school FPRPG feel with more modern 3D graphics,
5 the low requirements mean it runs well for people with older hardware.
6 The price is modest, to say the least. I'd say the game is a bargain at its normal full price.
Theres a few reasons right off the top of my head as to why someone would / should get this for PC.
I think people have bad expectations, thinking that this is skyrim.
While I've never seen a ported mobile game do very well on the pc, there are a couple exceptions. Sword & Sorcery was phenomenal and even better on PC. The Room 1 & 2 were good on pc as well as the Sentinel games. There are a couple others that are decent as well but their names escape me. Sometimes, the price is really good and players get to experience a much larger experience than what is available on their phones or pads. It's all about just having some fun most times. Most, not all, but most, mobile games don't have the longevity or game play length that actual pc games (or gamers) demand and like. So if someone is looking for something to kill some time with those mobile ports fit a nice niche.
Yes, I see some of the bad reviews but ya know what? Not everyone is a 15 yr old boy who spends all his time thinking about killing things in his games. Sorry, I'm an almost 59 yr old widowed lady, a grandma of 7, who builds my own gamer computers and prefers exploring to killing. Yep, there are a lot of pigs and rats to kill in the game, but they are just about my speed. The bigger creatures in the game were much harder for me and took me forever to kill when I first played it. After 2 years I'm a bit better now, but at times it's still a struggle. Probably because my main games are space games, not hack and slash, kill everything that moves. It could also be due to the 20 to 40 various medications I need to take on a daily basis, depending on which of my many health problems are acting up (most incurable, painful things like Crohn's, Fibro, Migraines, Spinal Arthritis, etc.). The meds do a real number on my concentration and slow down my ability to click a mouse and tap a screen quickly.
Anyway, if you don't like it, great, that's YOUR opinion and yours only. There's just as many people who love playing the game I'm betting if we did a head count (and not just of those who have posted, cause everyone knows the people who complain are always the ones who post the most). I keep seeing those people advising others to buy this game or that game .... I don't WANT those games. I've looked at them and they hold totally no interest for me. This game does and has kept me happy for over 150 hours and counting on my tablet I'm guessing. Now I am starting it again on my PC and loving it!
To the Devs if they are reading here. Thank you SO much for porting this over to Steam. I'm so enjoying seeing it on this huge monitor of mine. I hope you bring your other games over from mobile too. I have them on my Andriod tablet, but would also like them on my PC if possible. :)
Also, I thought I would like something like skyrim.
I other words, it was a poor man's skyrim.
