Does The Game Openly Reference Edward Gorey's Art Style?

As a huge Edward Gorey fan, it's interesting to see a game capturing the likeness of some of his work but I'm wondering and hoping that the creators played a proper homage to his art and morbid ideas.

Hello! I'm the lead developer of the game, and Edward Gorey was a huge inspiration to the art style of the game. We took it in a bit of a different direction (since Gorey never showed gore), but we definitely wanted to create a game that looked like a Gorey drawing.
