Bunny statue/people

I started a game and i noticed when loading in the concept art showed some rather adorable rabbit person, which was cute but when i looked aorund my town's starting area, i quickly also noticed there was a rather large rabbit statue nearby. Sadly my only option was to "mine it for stone", frankly i'd've liked to be able to move it, learn to make it, or get my people to worship it.

I'm rather hesitant to remove it, will this trigger soemthing? Does it provide any benefit or ill effect? Is it related to the bunny people from the loading screen and can i find them?

Ah yeah. i saw that when checkign the wiki. the Rabbit Clan.

Still, does the statue do anything?

gives you rock if you destory it, though I like building a small village around it as a center piece/sacrifice place

yeah i know about the stone. But yeah, that's what 'm doing too. Or was doing, i've been stopped by the memory leaks ;p

The mysterious rabbit statues are merely a hint of what's to come (the Rabbit Clan won't be introduced to the game officially for a while yet). Right now, the only things you can do with the statues are to mine them for stone, or simply admire them. (Nothing bad will happen to you if you mine them!)

Sweet though will they be playible or will their netrality be based on if you've slaughtered their little animal friends or not?
