How do you plant trees?

Level up a farmer to level 5. It is one of his crops.

You will draw a farm plot, chose the crop which is the oak crop. Wait for it to grow.
Farmers will get the small trees that are growing there and harvest from the farm and put it on your stockpiles. From there, you can do like any other object in the game, and place it in the world where you want, the tree will start growing after a few days.
