There is no Compatibility tab. All i have is General, Updates, Installed files, Betas, Controller and Workshop.
i did get the game to start by going in and deleting the x64 folder entirely.
DO NOT DELETE the x64 Folder
Do not run compatibility if you do not have too.
1: Go to this link: https://indy.fulgan.com/SSL/Archive/?C=N;O=D
2: Download the file openssl-1.0.2i-x64_86-win64.zip (15th file down, or hit ctrl f and search for openssl-1.0.2i-x64)
3: Make a folder for Stonehearth dll back up (Mine is called SH-DLL) and place the unzip file in there. Place it in your main folder to be accessible (for future issue ie: re-verified files)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth
4: Copy the files from the zip download libeay32.dll and ssleeay32.dll
5: Replace the files in x64 folder only (no where else)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\x64
6: Run the game
7: If Black screen wait 1 min the hit F5, if music is heard and menu doesn't show hit F5
Enjoy. this will stop the random crashing like crazy and your running the game proper
Your game will continue to crash
Please follow this instead

I do not own the IP, i can not optmz the game, all devs work for Riot Games now
Sounds like you only replaced the files in the main folder, do not do that; only the x64 files need replaced

Here what I want you to do.
1: Uninstall Stonehearth on Steam.
2: Reinstall Stonehearth on Steam (Now a fresh install)
Now follow this per step
DO NOT DELETE anything in the folder
Do not set anything to be compatible
If you have any mods remove them but ACE (you can keep that)
Not a lot of mods are kept up, so make sure they are updated
1: Go to https://indy.fulgan.com/SSL/Archive/?C=N;O=D
2: 15th down of openssl's or {18th if you count the folders} Download this file https://indy.fulgan.com/SSL/Archive/openssl-1.0.2i-x64_86-win64.zip
(Name of file: openssl-1.0.2i-x64_86-win64.zip)
3: Once Downloaded, open with a zip extractor. (like winzip or 7z) from your Download folder, just open **right click the downloaded file and select more options select the extractor of your choice winzip or 7z**
4: Take the files inside the download folder (libeay73.dll and ssleeay32.dll these 2 only you don't need the others) and move them to your desktop only
5: now open the folder to the Stoneheath x64 file folder only (this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\x64) -not just main folder
6: Now take the files (libeay73.dll and ssleeay32.dll) that you just placed on your desktop and move them into that folder only (not the main folder)
7: Close the folder and now run the game from steam
PS: 8: If your getting a blackscreen and music, Just hit F5 to reload UI (its a UI issue) if not working make sure your with in the screen.
PSS: 9: when you get game going once you start game keep it at base, DO not USE the 3 speed option.
PSSS: 10: you can thread the game open Task Manager - Details - find Stonehearth in list - Right click - Set priority High (no more then that)
