Stonehearth 2024

I noticed that this game is stagnant - it doesn't get new updates and the price is always the same. Why is this happening? Has this game been completed / ended development? Worth to buy this game? Why there are no new updates?

the devs were forced by their publisher/parent company (they were bought by their publisher) to "finish" the game years ago. they then brought out 1.0

they added what they could but left the game mostly unstable and a memory hog on most systems.

there was a fan mod that continued to add features and stuff called ACE
Dont know if it is still being developed.
