Alpha 17 Arrives on Steam Latest!

Hey guys love the game. I have hundreds of hours in it already. So this is probably going to compete for the dumbass post of the day award but I am not seeing any changes to my game after the v17 download. There us no wrench to craft, messages after building something or UI changes to building. I do have opt in latest under properties and when I start up the game it says v17 3002 on the bottim left of the start up page in white text and it says experamental build 16 in the background graphics. I assume I'm misssing something because I'm not seeing any changes. Thanks in advance.

Strange, maybe try verifying game integrity using steam? Or wait until you get a better answer xD

I recommend deleting and reinstalling and opting back into 'latest'. i assume you tried that. Good luck.

Thanks fellas, I got it going. I had the base_human.json altered to allow all attributes a range of 3-6 instead of 1-6 and after uninstalling, deleting the SH folder under Steam and reinstalling I get a version 17 splash page. Yay!!!

try the above methods and check on Stonehearth.dicorse. something it has more info.

this gives me an excuse to start a new world since i lost my old "way better world" in the alpha 16 sense

right click on the game in the steam game menu go down to properties and you should be able to find your way to the setting to change it to alpha 17 hope this helps

Im having problems with the engineer wont build the engineering bench and ive tried to delete the order and re-build it but it wont work.

change class to worker and back, it has worked for me in the past.
