Enhanced Blacksmith Anvil
I'm playing Northern Alliance, but that probably doesn't matter. I've got pretty much everything up and running, but I can't make that stuff in the title to be able to create a Golem Pick. I have all the resources needed, I got a simple Anvil placed, I have at least one level 5 blacksmith, so I can queue it up without having to click on the "Yeah, I know seemingly something's missing, but trust me on this one, okay?" button. If I open the roster, then I can see, that right after placing the order one of my blacksmith' change their task to "collecting ingredients", but then they go back to "idle" or "resting by the fire" or "ain't no one tell me what to do" or whatever.

I'm using ACE. For the whole picture, I'll have to mention the population is 36 currently, so it's over the default recommended value, but the system resource bar shows 40-50% idle time most of the time, so I don't think that could be the issue, especially since I have no problem crafting anything else.

Have anyone ever run into this (or something similar)?

Mine did that, even though the building arrow points out of the tip of the anvil, if the sides are blocked it won't work.

Ummm, thanks man :cozyspaceengineersc: :cozytf2mug: Although that wasn't the exact problem here, you spared me from some more frustration in the near future, because I planned my smithy to have the anvil between the kiln and the smelter, and I checked, if the sides are blocked they won't even move the anvil...

However I watched what's happening a bit more closely, and I noticed that the blacksmith went from "collecting ingredients" to "idle" at the exact moment he picked up one of the iron bars of the 2 needed. And I have 2 iron bars, no more, no less. This probably means that _technically_ I have two iron bars, but one of them is stuck somewhere the smith can't reach it.

So I dug until I found some more iron ore, made a third iron bar, and now I'm the proud owner of a shiny new enhanced anvil.
