When will we get Cloud Saving support?
Some of us travel and have multiple computers. I'd play this game more if the saves worked between my computers.

Isn't this a BIG BIG thing which barely any normal games have? (besides the fact that you can easily rig this yourself using dropbox)

No, most every single game I have on steam ( i have over 350) have steam support. I'm a fan of indie games, and damn near every indie game I own has cloud saving. No, it isn't a simple, easy thing to have on dropbox. It is still laborious.

whenever I try to make steam cloud backups it tells me to allocate a place to save it on a memory stick o-o

Sounds like you're using it wrong. Cloud saves don't go on a memory stick, cloud saves are automatically uploaded to the server, and requires no interaction or setup on your part.

I tried cloud saving assassin's creed 2, it was too big

And here I intentionally turn the cloud features off because they constantly corrupt my saves! I'm just an old stick in the mud though I prefer saves to hard drive over some magic cloud server I need internet access to use. Plus space issues, if I remember right your partition on the steam cloud is about 1gb and some saves can easily explode over 100mb depending on the game. You'd quickly come to hate it if everything tried to claim a space on your account.

I'd have to science it but most builder games tend to get very big save files after awhile and I'd assume stonehearth is no execption and it would be kinda rude of the game to devour your entire cloud storage.

It's 1 gb per game.

Yeah you're mistaken on those numbers, 1gb per game man. Out of my 350 games I have never had a single corrupted save from this system. Every week I travel between my two homes for work reasons, and never have I had an issue. Only issue is the lack of cloud saving.

I like krysis his opinion though. That's pretty much how I have experienced cloud saving.

My bad like I said I constantly turn it off after it ate my saves a few times on the upload. surprised they hand out that much space though since if you add it up thats a crapton of storage space to be used. Plus I just don't like the idea of losing my saves if their servers have a critical failure of somekind.

I'll admit I'm old fashioned though, my idea of a safe mobile save file system is a usb memory stick with a couple GB of data storage!
