otherwise the herbalist can only attend those of your villagers that actively requesting threadment.
i never noticed then :D how can i request the threadment? is it just possible with knocked out hearthlings ?
with that your herbalist will pick a healing item.. a portion, coarse bandage, medium or heavy bandage and head to the hearthlig that requires medical aid.
(healing amount increases with the "quality" and complexity of that item)
in case of fighting villagers you should make sure that you either disband a heavy wounded from his duties or that your harbalist works as a cleric... and keeps them healed.
This doesn't happen in my game. They are all 3 wounded, and go to bed everynight. The herbalist never gives them anything so they are ultimatily doomed to be killed since they are never healed.
that concludes that they have some wounds but are not heavily injured... nor are they lethal wounded.
do not worry about those wounds because your hearthlings seem to be sure that those will heal on their own.
the only one who can "force heal" even those minor wounds is the cleric... as i have stated several times.
