Two Story Buildings
Has anyone done this recently? All the tutorials I can find seem to be pre-stairs and don't work for me. It would be nice to build them as one building so I could save them, but even doing it as two buildings, I can't seem to get the walls to build on the second level. It just stays as an "x" icon. Any advice?

dont know what went wrong all i can say is to build floor, walls then press the middle floor b4 the roof to make second floor then walls again and lastly roof. should b that simple, as for stair i build them manually out of habbit and i dont want a connecting brick between the steps.

There are 3 different tools you could use that would seem ok to use as a second story floor. One is the foundation, the other is slabs and the last is floor. The floor tool is activated by clicking on the area in the middle of the first and second floors, not the bottom of the building nor the stacked slab blocks.

If I use a foundation for the second floor the wall tool doesn't work. It works for floor, but I can't place floor on top of the walls.

When you add the stairs, just remember to scroll down for the options on style and size :)

@Chaleur You can't use foundation for levels beyond the first. There's a selection called floors that sits between the two walls that can be used to build the second floor and onwards. I built myself a multi-level castle so I know it works.
