Everyone is to soft, I agree with the TC, she is a goblin horrible casting for Ellie. I mean Joel looks like Joel apart that hes mexican, why does Ellie have to look like she has down syndrome, They made a very small reference in the game that bill was gay to an entire episode last season, so I dont expect any less. No because she is the only example that bothers you, because she isn't attractive. The actress for Dina is Peruvian while Dina is Middle Eastern, and they look nothing alike. But Merced is attractive, so you don't care.

Merced is a good actress though, no? She's in actual movies and is believable in her roles, right? Ramsey is mid to pretty wooden most of the time, she can play an angsty kid because she literally looks like a middle schooler still, like when she had her little "Im immune" outburst with Tommy, in the show (Which was cringe btw). I'm a gay man, so I'm not attracted to women and I know that Ramsey is a pretty bad Part !! Ellie.

She was alright as young Ellie, but they should have pulled a HOTD and gotten a new actress for Ellie, then Dina also wouldn't look like an infant (Show Ellie and Dina look so young compared to every single other person on the show and it's because Ramsey still looks like a child), then Abby could actually be buff.... so on the show it wouldn't look like a 45 yr old vs a 10 yr old if show Abby was beefed lol

With the shocking gore and violence that is supposed to follow, I just don't believe that show Ellie and Dina are going to look integrated into this world, though Merced again is a good actress so she might be bare bones convincing at least, but Ramsey is not. Or is the show going to forgo swaths of action in favor for lingering shots of nothing, much like the first season? Time will tell, but episode 1 of season 2 wasn't that great.

I'm going to hold off on any personal thoughts / Judgement about season 2 until the entire season has aired.

I could not care less whether she looks like Ellie. It's just that she's a terrible actress. Her demeanor is the same as it was in GoT, except it worked where she was playing a child Lady of a House, whereas she doesn't seem to capture Ellie.

I don’t want to be that guy, but it’s kind of weird the controversy a child character isn’t pretty enough lol the actress portrayed the energy Ellie has perfectly I don’t know if anyone else could have done it that well. But I’ve only seen the first season

its not about attractiveness, its about how much she looks and acts like Ellie.
