Fun game until they make you play as an evil character
There is nothing fun about playing Abby at any point in the game. It's frustrating to be forced to play as someone who is not the main character and who is evil to their core.

Absolute nonsense. Ellie is the bad guy in this game.

in what part was Jerry defending himself? He aimed the scalpel at Joel and said he won't let her take her. So he is saying to get to Ellie you have to go through him first. He could have simply just stepped back and said to Joel that he can just take her, and the situation would've been different. Also in Joels defense he already knew they wanted to kill Ellie for the cure so if he didn't kill the fireflies it would put both him and Ellie at high risk for them to come after Joel and Ellie and kill them both and try to do the cure over again.

Yes, Jerry is defending the humanity. He's a hero. Joel is a villain who murders him for selfish reasons. Murders the last chance for humanity.
Your ignoring everything i said about how the "cure" for hummanity wouldn't have worked out anyways and it would only be used as a power move for the fireflies

That's just your own speculations.

its a realistic view on the situation, meanwhile your view on it is pure fantasy.

thing is, we don't have proof of whether it would work or not, so you have to use your own brain and look at it, it doesn't seem realistic at all, do you think?

It was a huge and the only chance for humanity. What're you arguing about? Trying to justify murder of innocent?

I'm saying they're not innocent first of all. and second of all, would you kill your own daughter on a gamble to save humanity when the chances of it working out are so slim?

I’m not watching it, but usually those videos spend a lot of time talking about how impractical the cure would’ve been (ie “it’s not scientifically possible to make a vaccine!” this sort of argument). But doing that kind of argument kind of ruins the ending of TLOU because it was suppose to be morally ambiguous, and none of the characters make that argument the game wants you to think the vaccine would have worked.

But there are ways to defend Joel’s actions without doing that rubbish argument, and it appeals more to the emotions the context of his character and how most of the cast would have done the same in that situation.

I agree with you, but it's hard to explain the emotional context of his character to someone who simply doesn't get it, which is why I'm using the cure business as an argument.

also the video talks about that if i remember right i haven't even watched the whole video myself so I'm not a 100% sure

I think those type of people forget how beautiful the first game was, specifically that moment when Joel is running with Ellie in his arms and how he is saying the same stuff he said to Sarah. It’s kind of unreasonable to expect Joel given his backstory to just let Ellie go, especially without closure the fireflies wouldn’t even let him see her.

Also I think they’re under the impression the second game wants you to definitively blame Joel, whereas I feel like the game was trying to do the opposite…

Dude you start playing an evil character from the get go if that is your definition

All the Fireflies had to do to pacify Joel was wake her up and ask her if she would be okay with sacrificing herself. But they don't, instead they are willing to kill to make sure she doesn't get the chance to say no. Consent matters pal.

Anyone who defends the Fireflies is promoting a group that is willing to kill to make sure they get to take advantage of a young girl they drugged.

Abby isn't an "evil character" at all.

Someone gave you the clown thing but they're the actual clowns for being too blind to understand the actual plot of the game. But you're right there are no villains in this game at least when it comes to Abby and Ellie there's just loss and grief between 2 completely different groups of people just trying to survive in the world. It's sad that so many gamers completely lack the ability to think critically.
