Help please, very low 1% lows on 13700K/5080 ???

Can anyone help me make sense why am I seeing 26-30 fps 1%lows for a moment which feels like stutters and then my 1% shoots back up to 80 fps where it rests for a short while before doing the same again?
Could it be the game saving progress in the background that causes this?
I have 13700K/5080 with 64GB DDR5 6000MT/s CL32 with fastest NVME3 SSD out there

The problem is, even if im standing still for some time, it does it. same thing happened to me in Alan Wake 2 and I feel like it's a GSYNC problem with the nvidia drivers.

Yup, tested the game with GSYNC off and it's buttery smooth. With Gsync on its as if the refresh gets out of sync with my monitor. sigh... nvidia drivers used to be legit

nvidia's had terrible drivers for a while now

7800X3D/5080 here, and in most games my FPS will be fine, then my 1% low's will gradually get worse and worse. While this is happening my latency is getting higher and higher. Only started happening once I had the 5080.
