Yea, it does say that it will double your cap when selecting FG in the options and using the latest frame.
So for this instance. It is 1 RF:1 FF.
However, as per their video. When capping game to 144 that is I'm assuming their native refresh rate. It is no longer doubled due to native FPS being around 120FPS and only getting around 240 average. So its essentially not doubled here due to the GPU not pushing out more frames.
I only have 75Hz native. But the cap will double if only enabling FG. Since as per FSR 3.1 you no longer need upscaling with it.
Either way. Fake frames are bad no matter the situation. Im running at native.
Game has been working great since release for me. Patch seems the same. Nothing different noticed on my end.
That sucks. What happens at 165?
Other than that one issue where you have to have it off first in the launcher or else it doesn't work properly if you have it enabled when you start the game.
Very odd. What are your specs? You try to use DDU and install display driver again?
Do you have the resolution and monitor set to its native display? What type of cable are you using?

done DDU multiple times as well as AMD's clean up utilities my native res is fine 1440p across both monitors 165Hz works perfectly fine on my ASUS monitor it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ on my AORUS monitor
No reason you should be having issues with that setup. Have you tried updating the displays firmware? Whats the model? Some of the ones I see do improve performance with display and another monitor has an update to Improve the compatibility with AMD graphic card.
Have you tried with the Aorus just connected?
If your ASUS works fine than its either the monitor is sensitive to a certain setting or possibly defective? Try contacting Gigabyte?
Oh wow. So you are saying its no longer under warranty or you are just waiting until just before the warranty expires to RMA it? Seems like they gave you a refurbished replacement. Thats not cool.
Thanks for giving me and others a heads up never to buy a monitor from them.
EDIT: back in the day dude i used to look at Aorus gear as top of the line rich man's territory best of the best type of thing but now i just think it's junk after seeing this
Hmm, you have the fridge next to monitor? Kinda reminds me of where if you put a magnet too close to the CRT monitor it would distort the image.
Im wondering if that issue with it going off is caused from Electromagnetic interference with the fridge being too close. Have you tried moving the monitor a bit further away? It could just be more sensitive for sure. Im wondering if using a ferrite core could help this.
