300 awards, but lost the player s choice awards. ALl the awards were either given by game journos or insignificant blogs no one cares about.

True, but the game awards are like the Grammys and Oscars nowadays. Most just don't care. Meainingless trinkets.

A game receiving or not receiving a GOTY award was not an indication for me of how much I would like or enjoy a specific game based on my past experience.

There were GOTY games that I would play for several hours, get bored or disinterested, and just abandon playing it.

It does sound pretentious and lazy to list in the games description. As most people checking this game want a synopsis of the game instead of exaggerated hype.
