I hate Abby Anderson.
I just couldn't bear that she killed my Joel Miller. Joel was forced to kill all the fireflies because he must save Ellie Williams. By the way, not hate Kaitlyn Denver, she's just an actress.

I do not. Abby took a revenge. Think about this: You have a father who is a doctor capable of creating a vaccine to save the world from a zombie invasion. And a man comes and kidnaps the girl who is going to make this vaccine and kills your father.

I think Abby has enough revenge motivation guys. Think objectively; wouldn't anyone in Abby's shoes have done the same thing?

Joel did not even know that was Jerry Anderson. Joel was focusing on save Ellie Williams. nothing else. Why should Ellie sacrifice herself? I would not mind Joel saved Ellie.

Listen, Ellie Williams will not satisfy herself and save the world. That's her life. Other people's death is not her business.

Joel didn't need to kill the doctors and support staff. He was just a bit too much of a psycho, and karma caught up to him. Similarly, karma also caught up to Abby as all her friends were murdered by Ellie and Tommy and then she was also tortured, and karma caught up to Ellie by losing everything and everyone she cared about as well.

Although Tommy seems mostly alright, so I guess karma is still impending for him. :)

Normal people feel remorse and shame after revenge. Psychopaths don't. Abby didn't.

Did you play the game? Abby's whole character arc is a journey that started exactly because she felt she "needed to" do something to "lighten the load" of guilt she felt after what she did. These are literally her words, which you'd know if you played the game. Do you think Joel thought for more than a second about any person he has killed, or felt even a sliver of remorse? He didn't, and that's part of why you like him. He's ruthless and strong, because that's what his world forced him to become. Like Joel's actions compelled Abby herself to become.

Joel felt bad at the first time he had to kill. Abby didn't. This kind of story where you witness 2 sides only works when both sides are introduced at the same title, not one of them at a sequel.

Where is it shown that Joel felt bad the first time he had to kill? You mean the scene when his newly infected neighbor bashed through his door? I remember Joel getting over that pretty damn quick. Do you really want to compare that to a 4 year buildup and payoff to finally finding the person who murdered your dad? Give me a break. And what about the fact Joel has killed and robbed innocent people, which he admits to when Ellie asks him about the ambush they just went through in Pittsburgh?

A story doesn't need to follow any rule you just make up to be compelling, either.

"Did you play the game?" I think you forgot that in TLOU1 Joel mentioned it. I refer to living people, not to infected.
