Joel dying is okay, the games not woke, but the story does still suck.

Could've done Joels death better, Abby should not have been that swole. I also felt like the writing team tried to manipulate me into liking Abby which I didn't like. That ending was the biggest case of blue balls ever too.

Not woke, people just say buzzwords like that to get a rise out of others.

i didn't like Abby aswell, i don't need to, and i would have liked to spend less time with her as the pacing gets demolished in the second act, but i can understand her motivation for what she did only because they made me play her character, and i still love the story as it's not just about revenge

Ellie and Tommy saw Abby and her friend faces but Abby let them live:

Okay Abby's IQ is low I guess?

Ellie kills all Abby friends in cold blood including the dog that you play fetch as Abby:

Okay Abby good, Ellie bad

Abby spared Ellie again:

Abby good, Ellie bad

Ellie and Dina were super injured, about to bleed out. Tommy got a gunshot in the face, point blank. Jessie also get headshoted and they were all in a hostile territory. There is no more backup.

Yet Tommy, Ellie and Dina were able to made it back home but Jessie's dead:

Guess they called 911 and the ambulance sent them home? From Seattle all the way to Jackson
Or they just respawned like it is GTA 🤣

Ellie found Abby, had a final fight, she even lost her fingers during the fight but decided not to kill Abby at the end because she saw Joel with a guitar.

Ellie returned home and Dina already left her. Everything she had done was for nothing and she can't play guitar anymore:

Okay story moral is revenge bad.
Abby get a happy ending with Lev btw

Ok, you want to know but it doesn’t mean everyone wants to know what happens before they even play a specific game. I’m happy I got to play this game blind without having a clue what would happen when I was playing it 4 years ago. Way better experience than knowing what will happen.

You're right, this should be deleted for spoilers. He just needed a vehicle to spoil things to make incorrect and immature comments about them. This is how kids who haven't hit puberty behave. It reads as someone who either didn't play the game or didn't understand it.

It’s how he died that was the issue, not to mention them lying about it..
