The Last of Us™ Part II Remastered

PC specs
What do you think about PC specs, will it have higher specs than Last of us part 1?

I personally dont believe it, because part 1 on PC is really bad and unoptimized port. Part 2 is ported by the same studio that made Ghost of Thushima or Horizon on PC, so I believe this game will optimized much better than part 1.

What are your opinions?

My bet is on either the same, or lower. If I recall, Digital Foundry made Benchmarks of both the remake as well as Part II and found Part 1 much more demanding. Though I'm unsure if this information translates well when it comes to PC ports, it's pretty much the only clue we have

opinion? they put nixxes in the dev tab for it to look better, or nixxes did playthru testing and qa. maybe some supporting code. afaik IG ported and fixed the engine for part 1. unless nixxes was involved at that stage and gets the xtra credit for the follow up.

and part 1 is not unoptimized, it's just how naughty dog codes. they squeeze the hardware out. and they very iiklely done that with part 1 on the ps5. you can run some numbers on thread counts and clock speeds. also pc has a different architechture. more stuff todo to get the graphics on screen.

you'll need a recent 6-8 core cpu with a good clock speed to hit stable framerate. 16 GB of ram should be enough. more is better for streaming content. and you'll need a 10-15 tflop gpu to get 1080p/1440p at ~60 fps. raster/compute output varies across brands/vendors.

part 1's content and high textures pretty much require 8-10 GB of vram on the ps5. you need the same on a pc to ge the same quality. part 2 ran with ~6 GB vram on the ps4 to look as good as it did. i dunno how much it uses on the ps5.
