Anything PRIOR to 9070 XT from AMD doesn't count. OMG, even 9070XT has overall way better spec than 7900 XTX. Christ, a fricking mid-range card beats the last gen AMD flagship virtually in every way except for less rasterization.

That speaks volumes as to how awful AMD was with its cards up to and including last generation. AMD finally got hit in the head and realized they can't just f around anymore considering where nvidia is in terms of tech and the market share they are dealing with.

I'll buy AMD card within the next two gen gpus that come out from them and before that, will follow their market trend. nvidia is effing up with focusing on AI and multi-frame gen too much it's becoming too anti-gamer, so AMD really has an upper hand to take from nvidia what market share it can get.

here's my specs for a non-biased comparison.

R5 7600 with 6800xt and 32gb of RAM
Running part 1 max settings without FSR 3.1 will get around 100-150 depending on the scene or area. With FSR 3.1 200+ FPS. (didn't test much with FSR 3.1 tho)

You can also play the game with 1080ti or 2060, just at lower settings with 1080p.

Considering Part 1 will use the same game engine as Part 2, expect similar performance (maybe not at launch but you know).

while I don't disagree with your statement, you should have read the part where i said "maybe not at launch but you know". This statement made by me hints that the optimization at launch will probably not be perfect. I sincerely apologize for not being more clear.

I will add onto this by saying a leaker who goes by the name of Billbil-kun has claimed that the game was finished in November 2023, but was waiting for the release of the second season of the show. Which appears to add up with this release date. He is a fairly credible leaker. Obviously we wont ever know if this is true, unless the game is perfectly optimized on launch.

Even though i disagree with what he said, no where did I see a 5090 in there that was claimed to be required. You appear to get angry easily and call everyone stupid, which appears to be hypocritical. Are you okay?

Just saying that it was boring when Part 1 came out and folk saying they couldn't run a high end game on their pc that was built in the early 2000s
If you want to run modern games on pc you need to run the lasest hardware.. Its simple.
I don't have a nasa pc but I ran part 1 flawlessly in 4k.
I've added a couple new bits to my pc since then and I know that I will be able to run the game without looking at recommended specs.

Yeah, did you played the game when it first launched?

Played it day 1 and it played beautifully...took half an hour to get the shaders down but once that was done it maybe crashed twice in my 45 hour play-through but fixed it as I went along. Internet security has quite alot influence on crashes as well as device drivers.
