They aren't 12 year olds they are full grown adults, that is truly the saddest part.
Anyways complaining on forums isn't gonna do anything play the games you like, and don't play the games you don't.
If i didn't play games that people hated then I wouldn't have played any game, I really like veilguard, I really loved TLOU2, Wo Long, list goes on, I couldn't care less what the general opinion is, works the opposite as well, games like the witcher 3 are just really boring.
Only opinion that matters is yours atleast in a singleplayer one and done game, in live service... well unfortunately if it's not popular it will not live but i digress.
For Lev, I again, don't care about if they're trans or not. However, how in the world does a transgender person make any sense in this world? Think of it this way. Lev is 13, with the apocalypse starting in 2013 and Lev being born in either 2024 or 2025. According to AI (sorry not sorry) approximately 1.5k-2k gender transitional surgeries were performed in 2013. SURELY when a global pandemic of a fungal disease is out there killing everyone, doctors and/or scientists will probably look away from trans surgeries/studies and focus more on the pandemic. (Disclaimer: I really don't know much on what it takes to go from female to male, however I think my point still stands)
The only reason I believe there is a transgender person in the game is because the actor in real life is transgender. It would be quite disrespectful otherwise lol. And regardless, still one of my favorite games of all time. Like Freak4Leeks said, the only opinion that matters is yours.
EDIT: however I would agree that just because of those 2 points, you shouldn't cut off the entire game and despise it.
Being trans is independent of sex change surgery and the majority of trans people don't have surgery.
Being trans also doesn't require taking hormones. The person simply doesn't feel like they identify as the gender they were born as, that's all. It's because of that some will opt for surgery and hormones just to try to get closer to a feeling of normalcy or comfort they don't have in their own body. Even if they never do though, they would still be trans. This has nothing to do with a time period, either. It's been a phenomenon going back throughout history.
Well, I guess unrealistic things can be bad for games that are actively trying to be realistic as well but that stuff doesn't really bother me much.
Nah that slop fest deserves every single drop of hate
