Lol, this isn't something I'd ever write in a diary. This is just a discussion page to talk and share opinions, and that's what people are doing, including me. If you find it weird maybe just don't look at the discussion page?

Anyway the scene is important because it's themed around revenge. It is one of the many scenes that develops Abby and her personal relationship with her squad before she loses everyone except for Lev. The dude that she's having fun time with is Manny, her BF, who was shot dead by Tommy later on. After shooting Tommy in the head, she tries to kill Ellie's gf because of it but Lev prevents her from doing it.
