(SPOILERS!) They should add an option to skip the sex scenes, FR

First off, I understand sex scenes are a normal thing in some shows, and sometimes are in story-telling games as well, but most of the time you have to actively seek that stuff out. In this game they just shove it right in your face, and for what?

Second, I know having sex is a normal thing in life, but I don't think those scenes were even necessary. I mean, it's not like they contributed much to the plot in a significant way.

Third, the sex scene with Abby is actually so uncomfortable to watch. It definitely takes the cake between the two sex scenes. Just-- how do you go from arguing and hitting him, to just randomly doing the boombayah? Not to mention the fact that the person she had sex with (Owen), already has a girlfriend that he got pregnant? Not exactly shocking that's the type of guy she's into, or the fact that she willingly had sex with him knowing that he had a pregnant girlfriend. (If you can't tell, I hate Abby.)

Fourth, just to make this point unbiased; Ellie's sex scene was really unnecessary as well. You can mention the fact that her and Dina had sex in the story-line without showing us. Yes she's grown now, and yes we're seeing part of that, but I can not stress how unnecessary the sex scenes in this game were. I just don't care for it, and I don't wanna see it. Seen it once and that was enough for me.

Fifth, I would just like to mention this is coming from someone who loves the last of us. Love the first game, the second, and even the show; just was never a big fan of the sex scenes (and Abby tbh).

(I hate Abby, and you should too. If you don't, consider yourself an opp. )

They should add an option to choose which character you would like to play. So when it comes to confrontation with Ellie as Abby you could pick your ending.

Why look at the discussion page, find what people are posting to be weird, and instead of just closing the forum, you bother to stay and take the time to comment about it? Like I said, if you find it weird maybe just don't look at the discussion page, or find some other topic someone posted

I would like to that scene taken out, as a gamer I did not need to see that, it did not enhance my enjoyment of the game....I don't know is that the point? To make the player not want to play?

It is. Same with Uncharted.

Anyway the scene is important because it's themed around revenge. It is one of the many scenes that develops Abby and her personal relationship with her squad before she loses everyone except for Lev. The dude that she's having fun time with is Manny, her BF, who was shot dead by Tommy later on. After shooting Tommy in the head, she tries to kill Ellie's gf because of it but Lev prevents her from doing it.
