We get it…you only have a gtx 1060
The game is more playable on 120 fps due to being closer to the speed we interpret game input to action on screen. Game is not Counter Strike or Fortnite but responsive gameplay is always important. Also the 120 fps makes it more realistic to our perception of real life. Despite being strong and independent women, both characters aren't athletes or soccer players with insane reflexes, but I still love Abby and want to marry her.
Just my 2 cents. ✅
Fixed it for you. You're welcome.
So, it being more cinematic is bad, not good. Also "more realistic to the slowness of real life" is just a totally stupid phrase. When I look around the world, I don't see everything stuttering, it's perceived like smooth motion and that's what I want in-game as well.
So I'll be happily playing this at ~90+ FPS at max settings. Looking forward to it. I already played the entire game on PS5, but it's so awesome to have it in better definition and performance so I'll buy it for PC too. (Sold my PS5 btw, everything is coming to PC now and it's just a better platform. Endless backwards compatibility, unmatched library of games, not tied to a single company, cheaper games, etc.)
i'll run it at 48 fps, just cause it v-syncs perfectly to my screen. high refresh cinematic in the middle. if i can reach it, i'll try the 72 hz sync. probably gotta drop it to ps4 performance visuals.
at 48 fps it'll get all the time to compute the visuals and screenspace fx of the part 1 engine, if it uses it. i think the screenshots on the store page don't even show all of the big hitters of rendering this game. foliage instancing goes vroom vroom. i've decompiled a bunch of the ps4 levels. yo...
:D:D When i got to play this at 60 fps on ps5, it was a pure bliss. No more motion sickness for me with that pesky 30 fps. cant wait to play this masterpiece at over 100 fps on pc
