But I'm surprised they still haven't opened pre-orders for Spider man 2, which comes out at the end of this month already
Because this is just a remaster of a 5 year old game.
Not a brand new remake lilke TLOU Part 1.
both are remasters
I dunno if that's 'cheap' or not but I'm grateful it's not some 100+ nonsense like so many others are these days.
As always will wait for the best price at GGdeals regardless.
I'll buy it now, maybe they increase it later :D
sorry simple concepts make your brain hurt
I really struggled to see any difference between TLoU1 and the 'Part 1 remake' when I played it on PS5.
As far as I'm concerned both of these re-releases were just slight graphical touchups and none of them should have used the word 'Remake;
You're right the differences between TLOU1 and it's remake are quite small, BUT it's also a fact that Sony did, say, "remake work" on TLOU1 which at least for them classifies it as a "new game" whereas "remaster work" which they did on TLOU2 does not classify that as a "new game".
Perhaps Sony were stupid to do so, but the fact is they did a lot of extra work on the TLOU1 "remake" and that's probably why they price it higher.
