Permadeath?

So whats the point of permadeath if the game is full of bugs and random ♥♥♥♥ here and there...l've started playing the game on grounded with permadeath whole game and l died like 8 time,6 of these deaths were because the game crashed while in an encounter or a bug that made me go under the map/clickers seeing through the walls/and the one that made me quit whole game is in the mall were to climb up the rope with jesse ,once l've reached the top the game just teleported me back down and i died to fckn FALL DAMAGEEEE!!
