Ghosting dlss???
Hey guys, idk if yall noticed but im seeing a lil bit of ghosting with dlss (i think i am using the latest one through nvidia app). Whenever i move the camera around the character. I cant screenshot it tho, somehow pressing printscreen doesnt capture the ghosting effect. Is there a way to fix this? Pls dont say stupid ♥♥♥♥ like 'dont use dlss' not everybody can afford a 5090 ti super duper whatever.

which upscale model does it use? is the preset K? that should fix it for the most part. i dunno if that runs on any gpu or is 40 series+. there should be overrides somewhere in the app. dunno. i don't use it nor dlss, in this game.

and well... you could lower the resolution to achieve playable framerate and play without dlss. not saying you need to buy a better gpu, just lower the settings to a comfortable viewing experience.

I think they somehow removed it for me? I was able to select K before, now the nvidia app doesnt include the list. It basicly says Latest and default now and whenever you pick latest you cant apply? here's what it looks like now

DLLS is a disgrace in part 2. The best one is DLAA in my opinion.

DLSSTweaks - Force enable Auto Exposure.

This can help with the ghosting problem.

Btw i think nvidia app applied the transformer version whatever. I have better fps now and allmost no ghosting? which is weird because it doesnt show the letters anymore like i showed in the screenshot. But have a look at what it looks like now :steamhappy:.

ok guys, i discovered the following things:
-the game uses DLSS preset E (CNN) by default, which has very little ghosting, but resolves hair and other detail poorly
-preset K (transformer) adds massive amounts of ghosting, but looks better
-preset J (transformer) looks about as good as K while having only slightly more ghosting than E

overall, i recommend using nvidia profile inspector to make the game use preset J
