Open Adrenalin panel go to graphics, scroll down. There should be reset driver cache. Just hit the button. After that all games should need to compile fresh and hopefully working shaders.
If this does not work for some reason you can delete the files manually (in case there are leftovers). If the game still does not run try a clean installation of the driver.
If a crash happens that early I strongly guess at corrupted shader cache.
I have done:
- reset/delete Shader Cache - shows now "Shader Pre-Caching 0 MB"
- manually deleted the Shader Cachefolder ID 2531310
- made a fresh Installation from the Game
Sadly - Nothing helped....😢
The Game Launcher comes up,then Black Screen for a few Seconds then return to Desktop/Steam Client UI with Naughty Dog Error Report Screen
Oh,I forget the AMD Cache....
Now it is working again, thank you very much for your Help.❤️😉👌
This is NOT an AMD issue as I have an nVidia 3080 and it is happening to me. The game is so broken there is actually a beta branch to revert to the previous game version.
Im on an RTX 3080 as well. I have zero issues and just got to the aquarium. No issues at all up to this point.
Seems like its an issue with your PC. Oh, I am also on 566.36.
Well, you can also try to clear/refresh the shader cache for Nvidia drivers :). This stuff can happen at times.
Corruption happens randomly :). Some people get hit some do not.... . Such problems do not care about your GPU brand.
