There was an error writing the save data

Everytime i launch the game it pops up with an error writing the saved data and will not let me start a new save or play the game at all ive tried everything i know and what all videos say if anyone knows how to fix this it will mean alot

Disable Steam Cloud and try again.

Also, this game makes 10 backup saves. So you can try loading an older one.

Have you simply tried to verify game files?

Have you tried to delete the saved data and start a new game? Make a backup before doing this.

Do you have any anti-virus like Malwarebytes? Or any type of data protection? Make exception to the game folder. Or disable and try again.

If you use One Cloud. Disable that as its been known to conflict with this game.

the issue was i had to turn of my virus protection i hv no idea how that works but it does so i aint complaining
