Shes talented sure, But she doesn't resemble or behave anything like OG Ellie.
Same can be said for the HBO's casting of Tommy, He looks nothing like the original character design either.
Same for Abby's character in the TV series too, She looks nothing like TLOU2 Abby.
The only characters in the series that resembled their ingame characters were Marlene ( actual actress that played Marlene in the game ), Joel with Pedro Pascal, And Bill's actor was almost a 1 to 1 of the ingame version.
I'm a firm believer that if you're going to make a show based off a videogame, Your characters should at least resemble the originals so as to not Alienate the fans and to keep it accurate.
It's not TLOU when half your cast looks nothing like the characters they are hired to portray.
