I bet it's solely a driver issue here. Download DDU, follow the instructions, re-install your graphics driver and see how it goes.
If nothing works a clean new OS often does the trick too
I even had to go with older drivers with this game and after that no crashes. Pretty weird stuff.
Strange. I have been using only ATI/ AMD graphics cards for 20 years and very rarely have problems. Of course there is the occasional bad driver. But that's very rare. My current 6750xt works perfectly with practically all games.
This response is hilarious to me.
Years ago I had a friend help me pick out parts and build a new PC. It was completely identical to his system in every way except for one. He had a Nvidia GPU, I went with AMD. Every other component of our builds was exactly the same. From the CPU to the MOBO even down to the power supply and HDD.
Pretty much every single time we would go to play a new game together, he would run into problems getting it to run smoothly, while I would be happily playing the game without having to fiddle with anything.
I rarely had to mess with drivers, I played new games and never experienced the myriad of problems that people were reporting. I never had any of the graphical issues, or driver issues, that my friend had.
I've seen and experienced first hand that AMD graphics cards run better and have less issues than Nvidia graphics cards.
check this, maybe u find something useful

I just started the game, with the same optional driver and I have yet received any crash.
Run a furmark bench test on your gpu and monitor the temps and gpu usage, if it crashes under load its either bad drivers or the vram could be dying, it may even need new thermal paste applied.
Try removing the gpu and blowing out the gpu with a can of compressed air to remove any dust or debris and plug it back in and retest.
If you don't feel comfortable with applying fresh thermal paste to your gpu take it into a pc repair shop and have them do it
sounds like you should buy an AMD card next time. nvidia is notorious for this problem.
