Steam Last of Us part II Error writing save file - solved

After the last hotfix update, game stopped being able to save after around 14 hours of playtime. Auto Save didn't work, and manual save gave me an error with 'error writing save data'.
Spend a bit of time searching, but didn't find the resolution... only reference was to one drive, but turning that off didn't seem to do the trick.
Finally stumbled on the solution today... windows virus threat and protection (windows 11) decided to block the app permissions to the save location in my documents.
To resolve go to windows security, virus and threat protection, and take a peek in the protection history... you should find something like'tlou-ii.exe' blocked from a folder access, make sure add it to allowed list for 'My Documents' Folder that has your save files.
Once I did that, went back into the game, and saves started working.
