Request to Include Option to Remove Nudity and Sexual Content

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to request the addition of a content filter or toggle option in The Last of Us Part II to disable or remove nudity and sexual content, similar to the feature that was made available in The Last of Us Part I.

As a fan of the series, I deeply appreciate the storytelling, gameplay mechanics, and emotional depth both games offer. However, for personal or cultural reasons, some players (including myself) may feel more comfortable engaging with the narrative if such scenes can be skipped or filtered out. The availability of this option in Part I was a welcome feature, and I was surprised to find it missing in Part II.

Including this feature would not only show respect for a broader range of players' preferences but also promote accessibility and inclusivity. It could also help parents and guardians who wish to share the game with younger audiences in a more controlled way.

the title is 18+. the depiction of violence alone will not make it to younger audiences. and... if you're an adult those lil naked bits are peanuts.

for like 5 seconds. and a pretty bad one at that. if that scene makes you feel some kinda way you got issues. and... if you see it happen you can skip the cinematic. done.

Are you a very young adult yourself? Nudity and sex scenes in a video game for some reason seems to bother you, I wonder what your reaction is to TV shows and such that have sex scenes and nudity, ♥♥♥♥ like this has been around for a long ass time my guy even in games...

This game is NOT targeted to kids and was never and never will be. We are adults, i think we'll all be okay, especially you, from a little nudity and sex scene in such a small part of the video game... Oh, and also, you can skip cinematics.... Crazy right? I know...

snowflakes are we huh? do i detect a little bit of melting? i gotta agree and echo what Zaides said quite well. This is a mature game for good reasons and if you really are an adult and you have the ability to skip the cut scene and you still want to complain then you have other issues at play in my humble estimation

It doesn't, I know where they got it from, but the only thing I can remember is just Ellie and Riley's kiss, but that was it, nothing sexual :/

The Last of Us part 1 did not have nudity. This game really does not have nudity either just a mild sex scene and you can skip the cinematic.

Honestly, it's called self modulation. You are in control of what you see and don't see. If you don't want to see mature content, don't play mature games. The idea that studios have to cater to every single personal preference is incredibly unrealistic.

And as other's have said, this game's cinematics can be skipped easy-peasy. So if you don't wanna see partial nudity or a (super mild) sex scene... skip them. Problem solved.

If simply knowing these scenes exist bothers you, then don't play at all, or seek mental health care because it's not healthy to have such a hang up over something you don't have to be exposed to, if you simply skip the scenes or choose not to play Mature rated games.

That always amazes me too. Violence (blood, severed body parts, etc.) in games has been entirely acceptable for decades. But if there's even the slightest hint of naked skin to be seen, everyone suddenly freaks out in disgust.

i think what the original post is "trying" to say is that the sex scenes in the game dont really add anything to the story. it just factors in this weird sexual tension from the characters for most of the game. same thing with ellie and dina. i could care less about if its girl on girl, boy on boy, whatever it might be but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i just want to kill some mfer clickers man
