DualSense ps5 Controller issues after 45min of game play

Experiencing a problem with PS5 Controller function after 45min of game play. I'll notice the joystick starts get lag, and then has accelerated input.. spinning the camera around. Then the buttons will stop working. I'll have to restart the game to fix it for another 45min. I've updated drivers, calibrated the controller, verified files, reinstalled the game. I even bought a brand new PS5 controller with the same exact results. I've also noticed I permanently lost the function to open the map up on the touch pad... but maybe that's part of the game? I don't know. Has anyone experienced this issue?

I encountered this problem on the first day (but then it started working fine) today I encountered it again. Apparently the problem is in the game itself.

Same issue. Id play for abt 40 mins. Starts off with no lag and then builds up to 2-3 seconds of lag and a very unresponsive state. Have to restart pc to get another 45 mins in. Really annoying.

I was having weird controller issues yesterday (DS PS5) too but wasn't playing this at the time.

OMG YES bro this ♥♥♥♥ is driving me crazy. I'll do like 1-2 maps and then my controller will start to lag and then become unresponsive. Mouse and keyboard still work fine, it's just the PS5 controller.

I disabled PS5 Controller Support in my Steam settings and it fixed this bug for me.

I tried this but my controller just started wiggin out... like clicking and buzzing non-stop. Two patches so far... no fix for controler issues yet.
