Game is crashing!!!!

Why TF is the game crashing??????? my GPU is at the latest version and i am playing on recommended settings. I have 37 hours into the game, i'm at Abby/Lev part trying to get to the hospital and the game just crashed twice!

What is going on?? is it possible that im the only one that is experiencing this? i dont see other threads about this issue.

whatever may cause it to crash. volumetric fog has been on the board to cause crashes. or lower all of it to be safe and maybe get past it. i dunno tbh. it's a general tip.

try running the game in a window, I had a similar problem

The issue is the psn overlay. Once you disable it the crashes stop

i just played for 6h first 20 minutes was the game crashing after adjusting settings to ultra everything to it's highest game ran flawlessly

Yeah, just the delete the useless crap in %PROGRAMDATA%\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc and your game is fine, except for one error message you need to ignore when starting it.

I have the same thing on this cutscene. The problem is in the game (possibly after the update)

have the same problem.. i found "snappy driver" and now i can run the game... the tool is free

nvidia? latest drivers? thats why then. Their trash! Nvidia went from beeing a boon for PC gaming up until the 30 series imo, after that its been downhill. Guess mining and AI spoiled them rotten. And thats from a guy who have a 4090 in the gaming rig

I have old drivers 566.36, same problem.

I had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM when i was doing THE RESORT level.

If you died the game crashed no matter what, i tried different settings : very high, high, medium - the only thing that got me through the level was when i put everything on LOW until i got past that level.

Chez moi, le jeu crash, j'ai juste 3h30 de jeu et je ne peux plus continuer l'aventure...
