Save file issues

I have lost hours of gameplay several times and it’s driving me nuts. If anyone has a save file that’s right at the start of day 2 in Seattle I would appreciate it as I can’t do day 1 again, I’ve done it half a dozen times only to get screwed by this save issue repeatedly.

I'm having the same problem, I've lost over an hour of progress four times today.

I'm also having the problem that it crashes very frequently (every 60 minutes or so).

I lost FIVE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HOURS OF PROGRESS due to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug. I literally don't even wanna play this anymore because of this lol. I thought I was autosaving the whole time before my game crashed.

Already comment on another discussion today but yes, it's a bug for sure. Lost 5 whole ass hours with of progress just recently because of this autosave issue.

guys i wouldn't recomend to play story mode if u have this bug. It's destroys all magic of first playthrough this game. I'm have a lot of enjoy playing this, but when i have to replay all the scenes bcs game doesn't save destroys my desire to play. I'm killing time in (No return mode) it's pretty fun. Let's stay together and ask those people for good patch that fixes that game. we're all united with this problem

Actually, you're right! I'd like to somehow finish the campaign before playing the No Return mode (which I'm really looking forward to) because I'm afraid of story spoilers.

When searching this I saw that the console version also had this bug. Funny how that works.

I'm getting this bug too often ( 3 time right now ).
Today i was continuing ellie run with the Seraphite chapter..
Getting hard to cross trought this chapter.
I reach the aquarium and kill owen and mel.
Then Abby play start.
Needed a pause, trying to save the game and get back to the main menu.
Game goes on boat screen but empty...
You know what's happened when i get back in game.
I have to reroll the Seraphite chapter.
What a pitty...
The game is unplayable for me right now because i discover the game, enjoying the ride, advancing on the story and get back brutaly a lot of gameplay hours back too many often.

This game look like weird played likke that.
I hope the game developper will fix this basic bug fast beacause i pausing my run till the fix it.

I feel like there's some special chapters when this problem coming. Cause I had almost came to aquarium and then saw i have to play seraphites too.

Exact same problem here. Lost about 4 hours. Wouldn’t let me manually save, stating “autosave was still in progress.” It said this for over one hour. When I exited the game, got the boat screen with no sound and no interface. Task manager to exit. Lost all progress.
