idk if it's canonically true sequel to tlou or just a poorly written fan fiction. Are Ellie and Joel supposed to be villains in this story?

Did you not play the first game? Did you have YouTube on your 2nd display? You though Joel was a good guy? why?

yes, neil druckmann is a big fan of tlou, so he wrote this fanfic for the sequel

It feels like the sort of fan fiction a school child would produce and the parents would laugh at before they put it on the fridge. Shame because the production quality of the game is brilliant but Neil spent way too much time with certain people who 'influenced' things and the end result is a catastrophic mess of hypocrisy, insanity and something so tonally bad, almost every character is loathed or easily forgotten about.
