I know this a 10/10 game but why tf did it need a remaster? There are so many other playstation exclusive titals that could've sold greatly to new and past gen gamers with more dramatic and worth paying for kind of improvement imo.

PS5 came out and they needed a reason to get people to upgrade.

My PC cant play PS4 discs. And its also costs peanuts to port game with better settings to PS5 and PC, so this controversy about Sony remasters doesnt make any sense.

Shuhei Yoshida (former head of Playstation) already explained why in an interview. They make these ports to sell on PC to fund development of their big budget AAA games that keeps increasing in cost

For one, to sell the game again for a fat paycheck but also, even though TLOU2 was on PS4, from what I understand it didn't run amazingly. There was a lot of loading between new sections of the game, it was stuck at 30fps, graphics shortcuts to make it playable on PS4, etc.
