something is wrong with nvidia frame gen
with nvidia frame gen i get around 175-190 fps 3440x1440 max settings with a 4090 but gpu usage moves around a bit from like 80-99%. i turn on FSR frame gen, getting 270 to even 320 fps in doors with a solid 99% gpu usuage. Exactly the same settings too, something is wrong as nvidia frame gen in every game i've played has always been far superior. no temp issues or system problems.

Nvidia is having a ton of driver issues right now. About 4 hours ago gamers nexus made a lengthy video about all the issues including FG problems

use loseless scaling

loseless scaling is so customizable and ♥♥♥♥ totally worth using over fsr or dlss
fg in my opinon i can get more fps with loseless than dlss or fsr and it stills looks really good using x5 rn in last of us part 2 with max frame latency of 5 getting over 300 fps at all times with max latency of 2m most time its at 0.1 latency

My GPU usage is quite low in this game, only 50-60%. And I play at 4k native with DLAA and max. settings (RTX 4090). Probably because I've set FPS limit of 120. I use driver 572.83 and frame gen. works fine.

To use lossless scaling over nVidia FG is worst advice ever.

And why is it a problem? At that low resolution 4090 is an overkill, so 80-90% load is perfectly normal.

loseless scaling works better

It's not. Also the input latency is crap with lossless

works flawlessly for me. Don't even need to turn DLSS or DLAA on. Running native with TAA, everything on high/very high and getting completely stable 120 fps (I cap it at that).

4080 super / i9-10900k

not really i max i get is 2m with last of us 2 running x6 fg

had the same low gpu usage on my 5070ti but u can fix it this way
disable framegen and upscaler like dlss and restart the game
and u will notice 99% gpu usage again, then switch to options
and enabla dlss+framegen again and now it will use cca 90-99% gpu usage
nvidia drivers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at the moment

TAA is a blurry mess dlaa is much better

You’re crazy to use TAA instead of DLAA. DLAA is native resolution and much better than any other form of AA.

Imagine how clueless one must be to use TAA over DLAA while having the option to use DLAA
DLAA is much better than TAA. But there is some blurriness, it could be better.
