no. the new driver crashes it. and it works with an old driver. so... if it works, OP mighht aswell just play with the old driver. i would assume the new driver is only required to "fix" fsr and frame gen compatibility. if you don't use fsr or frame gen, there's no real need to update the driver.

that being said... i'm playing with an outdated driver (on an nvidia gpu) aswell. i don't use dlss/dlaa nor framegen and it works just fine. :)
