smarter and more perceptive gamers than i, it would seem
Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers?
Didn't the entire script, or at least a large chunk of it, ♥♥♥♥ just before launch?
Either way, I shrugged it off as people who cry over the concept of pronouns and same ♥♥♥ marriage, not expecting the game to be as bad as they say.
Unfortunately, I ended up really hating the writing and story. I'm hoping that replaying it with lower expectations lets me get a better perspective.
Also. My dumbass just realized this was a rhetorical question, and not you saying the game would be better if Abby was a guy lol
.. but rocker is making abby sound ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ based.
anyone can have plot-armor and super powers (arpg fans appreciate cheatcode powers)
... but the "♥♥♥♥-you" determination is what I rate most (guts/bezerk)
... you don't need muscles or to be male to qualify, just the ability to snarl thru broken teeth.
Just compare how consistently Joel was motivated to deliver Ellie to her goal. It doesn't compare to an action motivated only by "conscience tormenting".
This is the difference between the well-written, down-to-earth first part and the sequel. The sequel is a good gameplay game with a bad narrative. A barrel of honey with a fly in the ointment.
abby was motivated by a guilty conscience, obligation to reciprocate yara saving her life, and later protecting surrogate family to perform herculean deeds
they are very similar characters, no?
