How do i go load back if i missed some loot?

The game is annoyingly linear to the point that I've just gone through a door that closed behind me and then through a window that i can't re-enter. Stupidly, the game autosaves every 20 seconds apparently, so now i can't get back to where i was and collect the missing loot. The game doesn't even tell me which path is the story path, therefore it's always a gamble. I'm really annoyed at not being able to loot everything as I like to play completionist.

just go ahead and play it twice. or create a manual save game and reload the chapter or encounter. the game should keep track of your complete progress. i did the same for part 1.

it says reload chapter less than 1 min ago, or maybe there is another way. I think i'll just continue for now. I think in future i'll make manual saves if i see two routes haha!

you can load some chapter sections from main menu in chapter select

I actually got back to the horses and turns out, i can get back inside and loot one of the places i missed. found 6 pills, so i'm happy, just like in real life ;)
