Gun doesn't go off the first time I click

Is anyone else having the issue where their gun doesn't go off when you click left mouse?

I have to click twice in order for my gun to go off. Not sure if it had something to do with my logitech software but I disabled intergrations and the problem still consist. Any advice?

I am having this issue as well, most likely a bug, hopefully it can get fixed in the next patch.

Oh man, I have been having this extremely annoying problem and did some troubleshooting.

It seems like the UI is bugged when you press escape and restart encounter with the mouse or at least this is how I have been consistently triggering this myself. By pressing OK with the mouse the game is focusing on the UI and doesn’t seem to focus on the game once it’s reloaded so when you try to shoot it does nothing at all until the second click which the game registers.

The only “solution” that I have found is to not use the mouse on the UI prompts and instead to use the keyboard to select things.

This needs a patch.

Yes, sometimes. And it's exclusive with this game.

Nope, i'm having this problem right now and found reddit threads and this with the same issue. At first i thought it was some kind of little mechanic with the cocking of the hammer on the gun but it isn't. It's super annoying.

Nixxes have acknowledged the bug. They say it seems to be caused by using the mouse to click "checkpoint restart" , so the temporary workaround while they work on it is to use Spacebar or Enter to select anything about restarting a section. Just to be sure, i use the keyboard for anything to do with saving and loading now.
