Save file issues

I have lost hours of gameplay several times and it’s driving me nuts. If anyone has a save file that’s right at the start of day 2 in Seattle I would appreciate it as I can’t do day 1 again, I’ve done it half a dozen times only to get screwed by this save issue repeatedly.

Our investigation shows that issues can occur when OneDrive blocks the save file from being written.

As a workaround, while we work on updates, we suggest pausing OneDrive while playing the game:

Right click the OneDrive icon in the Windows taskbar, click the gear icon and Pause syncing.

Saves breaking

Anyone else suffers from losing progress? Most of the time it worked fine, but it's second time already that after i restarted the game it took me back in like an hour back in the game. Then, when i was awere of that playing again, i was trying to save manually, but i couldn't cause it said that it tries to automaticly save the game, but nth happened for few mins. After i restarted the game, same sht happened. If i die tho, checkpoints works fine, i just can't quit the game, cause i'll lose progress.

Just happened to me now. Lost about 8 hours of progress after quitting and coming back to load game.

Autosaving just made me not want to play this game anymore

I played 9.6 hours, and i got til right before the hospital where the wlfs jump you on the workbench and the entire time I am playing it wont allow me to save because "autosaving is still trying to autosave. BUT it was saying it was saving at each checkpoint anyways i get off and go to bed wake up at 2am because I have formation soon wanted to load it up hit continue and it didnt save a single thing and put me back at the start so all the perks i had pills guns full exploration of every single area 9 hours worth is gone so im good

you guys quit the game? i backed to main menu and the menu has clean, just the boat, and cant exit the game, just exited by finishing from manager process

I tried both, when i quit to main menu, have the same issue as u. So fcn annoying.

Well, anything i've worked so far is just saving manually once per 5 mins (annoying and breaking immerse) and if it works, it works fine, but when i see the wait for autosave info, i just restart the game and i'm losing 5 mins at best. So far tho, it's not so often that autosave breaks.
