No they don't. Proof: go to literally any torrent site and sort by number of downloads. I guess Elden Ring and BG3 must be terrible games by that logic.

TLOU2 is just a good game, not as good as part one in my opinion story wise, part 2 does have some weird stuff in it, but generally the game is still good, could've been way better without the weird stuff, and ofc keeping Joel alive,
part one sold around 30 million copies, and part 2 sold about 10 million, so, yeah, there's that.
