Game won't start at all

I have no idea what I'm doing incorrectly here, but anytime I click play, it looks like it loads for about 5 seconds and then just stops. Then the button is green again as if I didn't just try to run it.

I know it's not a spec issue because I'm above the recommended specs. Anyone able to help me please?

In case it's helpful:
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER
32 GB RAM
2TB SSD

Also, things I've already tried:
Verified game files
Uninstalled and reinstalled
Restarted PC

If any of you have a varjo head set and have the varjo base running in the back ground exit it.
I've had this issue with certain
PS games for some reason. If you don't there's something in the background running that's causing this.

Are you running Steam - Windows as an administrator? Is it up-to-date? Are your drivers, too? Could Part II be blocked by your antivirus program?

I’m having the same problem here

Nixxes support actually responded to me saying they have no idea what’s going on and can’t help me with this issue so it’s really a disappointment

Oh trust me I saw all the YouTube videos and they all say do the same thing, run as administrator, increase the memory size pool etc etc but none seem to help

What about a complete new installation of Steam? You can make a backup file of Part II before the installation.

WTH, just bought it and try to run, black screen and crash - just finished Silent Hill 2 among other games, come on!
