Crash on startup

Game refuses to launch at all whenever I click play it starts for 20 seconds then closes, no splash screen no crash error no nothing,

32gb ram @6000

I think for AMD cards you need to update to the latest GPU driver

Even with that driver it'll crash frequently for the first 1 to 1.5 hours of gameplay then stops. This is a Sony game issue exclusively from my own experience as I had the same problem with Ghost of Tsushima. The weird thing is that the crashes do eventually just stop. My only suspicion is that this is to do with how these games are caching shaders and once all those shaders are fully cached the crashes stop.

I’m currently reinstalling the game not sure if it’ll work or not

I tried launching other games just to be sure and all worked well so idk

I don't think it is the same issue. At least my Game fails to start at all. I never even got any kind of loading screen or any screen inside the game itself.
I just click "play", then Steam obviously tries to start the game, takes 3 to 5 seconds but fails and the Button changes back to "play" as if nothing ever happened. Other Games work fine. Never had that problem before...

At least we now know, that the issue probably isn't related to the GPU or the drivers, becaus we both use different brands. This leaves the common sources, which are Steam and the game itself.

I am currently in touch with Nixxes Support. Maybe they can help.

same here.. when I press Play button, it changes to blue for a moment and then green play button appears again and thats it.. nothing happening...

Same problem here. My setup is rx 9070 rayzen 7 5700x. The game crashed and no open anymore...
