LOW GPU USAGE ?!

OK so i was looking at my GPU usage in the game and it's like only hitting 65%

Normally this should be a 99%

So right now im getting around 60 FPS sometimes going a bit above and sometimes below on an RTX 4060

The thing is though - i looked up multiple YT videos and the RTX 4060 should be getting around 85 FPS.

Has anyone had this happen ?

The bottleneck is easy to check. Turn on DSR via the NVIDIA driver and increase the resolution by 2 times. If the low GPU usage disappears - then it's a bottleneck.

There are other videos too... i have not seen a single video in which the 4060 actually performs worse than those.

Noticed this only happens in Downtown Seattle (open area). Before and after that area, GPU usage is high again.

I can't really go beyond 1080p - it's my native resolution

This can be done simply to test the bottleneck. Enable DSR via the driver.

You're doing absolutely everything except listening to feedback and suggestions. I even told you that nvidia is having driver issues right now and that reports are telling people to use December 2024 drivers and you're still using a February 2025 driver which is the one with all the problems.

It's not CPU bottleneck - RYZEN 5 3600 and i also measured the CPU usage.

What GPU driver are you using ?

I'm on nvidia 572.42 and most videos i've seen are on 572.83 but i heard that one gives black screens and even OS slow-downs.

a 3600 is very well the bottleneck in this game, TLOU I was already very CPU demanding.

Dude i played freakin Assassins Creed Shadows at HIGH settings which is intensive as ♥♥♥♥ and still had like 50% CPU usage in that game.

I'm telling you it's NOT a godamn bottleneck stop saying the same ridiculous ♥♥♥♥ over and over.

In the Launcher disable FG and then start the game. In the menu you can turn on FG.
